BNI only allows one person per professional specialty in each chapter, so look here to find a chapter with an opening, or you are always welcome to attend the meeting of your choice. It is a good idea to contact the president of the chapter before attending, just to make sure they still have an opening for your professional specialty. Contact information can be found here.
You are also invited to attend our BNI Information Meetings. Information meetings provide information on BNI, starting chapters, and support during the start-up process if you want to start a chapter of your own.

The first step is to find a chapter and visit and see what we are all about. Words don't describe the energy you will find at your BNI meeting. BNI is something you need to experience to appreciate and understand.
In BNI, only one person is allowed to join per professional specialty. Once you are accepted as a member, your competition is locked out of your chapter! Once you submit your application, it will be reviewed by the membership committee; the committee will let you know the status of your application by the next meeting.
A Little History Started in January 1985 by Dr. Ivan Misner, Founder and CEO of Business Network Int'l., BNI provides a positive, supportive, and structured environment for you to grow your business through word-of-mouth marketing.
 Nancy Giacomuzzi, left, brought BNI to Minnesota when she moved from Salt Lake City. She had a thriving real estate business in Utah, and was a BNI member there. She didn't know anyone except her new husband, but that changed when she started her first BNI Minnesota chapter. Now 13 years later she has over 150 chapters with more than 3900 members across the state.
