Chris believed in the “Givers Gain” philosophy that was evident not only in his participation and leadership of BNI Chapter Star of the North, but also in the many groups and organizations he was actively involved with.
Chris joined BNI in October of 2006. He was our chapter’s Secretary/Treasurer for the 2006/2007 season and currently held the Education Coordinator position. Chris continually gave to our chapter – whether a word of encouragement about BNI or his memorable harmonica opening to his last 6 six minute commercial. Chris gave us his ALL.
On April 11th Chris died tragically in an auto accident while returning from dropping his oldest son, Chris Jr. off at the Guards.
Chris leaves behind three children: Chris Jr, Alicia, and Ryan and a granddaughter – Abigail – all who lived with and were solely supported by Chris. Chris is survived by another adopted son – Austin.
Being such an active participant in so many groups, tributes to Chris abound on numerous websites. Some would say that a person can really realize what a difference a person made …. from their legacy after they are gone.
Star of the North has developed a website : www.258heaven.org in participation with sponsoring/referring organizations to help with the financial needs faced by his three teenage children and granddaughter. Please visit this website to help Chris’ kids.
